The lagoon water temperatures are too high (around 76 degrees Fahrenheit). The dissolved oxygen levels are too low, which is harmful to wildlife and fish. And the high temperatures and low oxygen levels can cause toxic algae and bacteria growth. Therefore, the lagoon levels will be lowered a few inches in lagoons 1 and 2 starting this Friday the 23rd of July. And then freshwater from the Bay will be brought in to raise the lagoon levels.
